Simon Salloom named in Los Angeles Magazine’s 20/21 list of real estate all-stars.
Simon Salloom, a Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialist affiliated with the Beverly Hills North office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, has listed a Santa Monica property for $4,249,000. Located at 733 19th St. in Santa Monica, Calif., the four-bedroom, three-bathroom, one-partial-bathroom and approximately 3,022-square-foot home is on an approximately 8925-square-foot lot.
Described in marketing materials as “English Revival” in style, with quarter-sawn oak floorboards and other period details, the roughly 3,500-square-foot bungalow contains five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. A detached garage of some 1,000 square feet was, not surprisingly, converted to a multi-room gym.
In 1954, Dwight D. Eisenhower was in his first term as president, Willie Mays made The Catch, “Mr. Sandman” was on the radio — and a house that became a favorite hangout for Hollywood elite was built on Pamela Drive.
Director and screenwriter James Mangold has sold his house in Brentwood’s Mandeville Canyon area for $3.15 million.
The Brittany Tudor-style home was built in 1964 and designed by local architect Gerard R. Coldcord. Known for building comfortable family homes in interpretations of a variety of architectural styles, he designed more than 300 houses in Southern California, and his work retains an ardent following.
Beck and his wife, actress Marissa Ribisi, have sold a Santa Monica house they bought in February for $2.9 million.
They paid $2.711 million for the Tudor-style home and, if listing photos are any indication, put a lot of white paint into the place.
The mid-century Sunset Strip Wolff Residence, built-in 1961 by internationally famous Los Angeles-based architect John Lautner, AIA.
